You'll board in the morning at one of eight designated city locations and settle in for a scenic drive southeast. Your driver stops first at Pirates Bay's clifftop vantage, then the Dog Line Monument, before pulling in at the chocolate foundry for a browse and taste. The lavender farm comes next—wander the gardens, buy bundles or oils if you fancy. From there, it's a straight shot to Port Arthur itself. You have flexibility: spend a full four hours exploring the convict-era stone buildings, walking the grounds, and taking the included harbour cruise; or stay three hours and return to the bus to tick off Remarkable Cave and Maingon Bay on the way back. Either way, you're retracing the peninsula loop by late afternoon.
